About Taackk

Taackk is a fractional executive marketplace that connects growth-stage businesses with vetted, on-demand fractional sales leaders. Companies access elite sales talent without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire; experienced executives monetise their expertise through flexible, high-impact engagements.

Taackk serves two audiences. Businesses — typically Series A to Series C companies, PE-backed firms, and high-growth SMEs — that need senior sales leadership but cannot justify a full-time VP of Sales. And experienced sales executives — VPs, CROs, and Directors — who want to work across multiple engagements simultaneously and build a portfolio career.

A fractional executive is an embedded, operating leader who owns outcomes — they build pipeline, manage teams, run QBRs, and drive revenue just like a full-time hire, but for a fraction of the time and cost. A consultant typically delivers advice, frameworks, or a project deliverable and then exits. Fractional leaders stay in the seat and are accountable for results.

Taackk specialises in revenue and sales leadership: Fractional VP of Sales, Fractional CRO, Fractional Head of Sales Development, Fractional Revenue Operations Lead, and Fractional Account Executive leadership. If your need sits adjacent to these — such as a Fractional CMO with a revenue focus — reach out and we will assess fit.

For businesses

Start by submitting a brief through the Apply page. Our team reviews your stage, revenue goals, team size, and timeline, then matches you with two or three pre-vetted leaders whose backgrounds align with your needs. You meet them, choose the right fit, and we handle the engagement structure, contract, and onboarding. Most businesses are matched within five business days.

Engagements are scoped to your needs. The most common structures are two days per week (roughly 16 hours), one day per week (roughly 8 hours), and sprint-based arrangements for specific initiatives such as a sales process overhaul or a new market entry. We recommend a minimum of one day per week to maintain meaningful momentum.

Initial engagements are structured as three-month terms, which gives both sides time to establish rhythm and deliver measurable results. Most engagements extend beyond the initial term. There is no lock-in after the first term — you can scale up, scale down, or conclude the engagement with 30 days notice.

Pricing depends on the leader's seniority, the scope of the engagement, and the number of days per week committed. As a guide, fractional VP of Sales engagements typically range from $8,000 to $20,000 per month. This compares to a fully-loaded full-time VP of Sales cost of $250,000 to $400,000 per year. Visit the Pricing page for detailed tier breakdowns, or speak with our team for a custom quote.

Every leader on Taackk goes through a multi-stage vetting process: a structured application review, a 60-minute competency interview with our team, reference checks with at least two former clients or employers, and a background verification. We accept fewer than 15% of applicants. Leaders are re-evaluated annually and after each completed engagement.

All work product created during a Taackk engagement — playbooks, process documentation, CRM configurations, sales scripts, and similar deliverables — is owned by the client business. This is specified in the standard engagement agreement. Leaders retain the right to reference the engagement in their professional profile but cannot reproduce client-specific materials.

For leaders

Visit the Leaders page and click Apply. You will complete a structured application covering your career history, the types of businesses you have scaled, your preferred engagement structure, and your availability. Our team reviews every application and responds within five business days. If there is a strong fit, we will invite you to a competency interview.

Most leaders on Taackk carry two to four concurrent engagements. The right number depends on the scope of each engagement and your personal capacity. We work with you during onboarding to structure your portfolio so each client receives the focus they need and you avoid overcommitment.

Leaders are paid monthly, net 15 from invoice date. Taackk handles all invoicing and collections on your behalf. You submit your hours or confirm your monthly retainer through the Leader Portal, and payment is processed automatically. There are no payment chasing, late invoices, or accounts-receivable headaches.

Taackk operates on a platform fee model rather than a revenue share. Leaders pay a monthly platform subscription that covers access to matched opportunities, the Leader Portal tools, contract management, invoicing, and community access. This means your earnings from clients are yours — there is no percentage taken from your engagement fees.

No. Taackk is not an exclusive arrangement. You are free to maintain existing clients and take on engagements outside the platform. The only restriction is that clients introduced to you through Taackk must be engaged through the platform for the duration of that relationship.

Platform and tools

The Leader Portal is Taackk's dedicated workspace for fractional executives. It includes tools for managing your professional profile, tracking active engagements, accessing AI-assisted content creation, monitoring inbound matching opportunities, scheduling, contracting, and direct messaging with clients. It is designed to make running a fractional practice as efficient as possible.

The Leader Portal includes AI-assisted tools for generating sales playbooks, drafting outreach sequences, creating social proof content, and producing engagement reports. These tools are trained on sales leadership best practices and are designed to accelerate the work leaders do for clients, not replace their judgment.

All communication during an active engagement flows through the Taackk messaging system inside the Leader Portal. This keeps engagement history in one place, ensures both parties have a record of decisions and deliverables, and allows Taackk to provide support if any issues arise. Direct contact details are shared after the engagement agreement is signed.

Taackk is built to SOC 2 Type II standards. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to client data within the platform is role-gated and logged. Engagement agreements include mutual NDA provisions as standard. Leaders and businesses can request a copy of our security documentation by contacting our team.

Getting started

For businesses with a clear brief, the typical timeline from application to a leader starting is 10 to 15 business days. This covers brief review (1–2 days), candidate matching (2–3 days), introductory calls (3–5 days), agreement signing (1–2 days), and onboarding (2–3 days). Urgent engagements can sometimes be accelerated — speak with our team.

Yes. Businesses can structure the first four weeks of an engagement as a paid pilot. During the pilot, either party can exit with 7 days notice and no further obligation. Most pilots convert to full engagements. The pilot fee is credited against the first full month if the engagement continues.

You can reach us through the contact form on the Apply page, via the chat widget on this site, or by emailing [email protected]. Our team is based across Australia and the United States and responds to all enquiries within one business day.
